SHAZAM is hiring a Software Engineer for a fully remote role in the USA. You will write clean RPG code, participate in all phases of the SDLC, and collaborate with cross-functional teams from day one.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience with RPG (IBM i)
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with OO design principles
• Clear communication of complex technical topics

Responsibilities

• Write clean, reliable RPG code and contribute to SDLC
• Design production-quality solutions with maintainability and performance in mind
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers across the full SDLC
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers
• Contribute to tooling improvements and document features
• Assist in root cause analysis and improve system reliability
