Job summary

VivSoft is seeking a Software Developer for a remote, full-time role requiring Top Secret clearance. You will participate across the SDLC, translate requirements into software solutions, and ensure quality, security, and documentation throughout the development process.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of software development, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with latitude on methodologies while adhering to Agile practices. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
• Ability to operate with latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve defects efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance/suitability determination.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Works closely with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Adheres to Agile methodologies and principles for software development.
• Reviews design, code, and test of software to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
• Ensures software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
• Resolves technical issues and defects promptly and efficiently.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation that accurately represents software design and code.
