Job summary

VivSoft Technologies is seeking a Software Developer to contribute across the full SDLC, aligning with Agile practices and strong documentation. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a federal clearance. Remote work option available, with a Full-time W2 employment model.

The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions for federal projects, emphasizing DevSecOps and cloud-enabled architectures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Demonstrated experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and principles.
• Ability to operate with latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Works closely with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Adheres to Agile methodologies and principles for software development.
• Reviews design, code, and test of software to ensure quality and functionality of applications.
• Ensures software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
• Resolves technical issues and defects promptly and efficiently.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation that accurately represents software design and code.
