Job summary

WBS CODING SCHOOL, a leading tech school in Germany, is hiring a Software Development Instructor (f/m/d) to teach modern web technologies to diverse learners. The role focuses on hands-on instruction, live coding, and mentoring across cohorts, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a supportive learning environment.

You will guide students through projects, code reviews, assessments, and ongoing feedback, helping them grow technically and personally while collaborating with instructional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach, mentor, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse learners.
• Fluent German (C1-C2) and fluent English.
• Hands-on experience with modern full‑stack web development (MERN, TS, API architectures).

Responsibilities

• Manage cohorts of students throughout their learning journey, providing structure, guidance, and motivation.
• Create and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and live coding sessions.
• Resolve technical questions, blockers, and learning challenges in a supportive and solution-oriented way.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, and student-centered Software Development Instructor (f/m/d) with a growth mindset to join our team. YOUR SKILLS
What we are looking for:

• Strong hands-on experience with modern full-stack web development, especially the MERN stack, TypeScript, and API-based architectures, including practical exposure to AI integrations in web applications.
• Proven ability to teach, mentor, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to learners with diverse backgrounds.
• Fluent German (C1–C2 level, ideally native) and fluent English.

Good to have:

• You have experience with C#, Java, or similar programming languages, which allows you to draw comparisons and explain concepts across different tech stacks.
• You demonstrate a solid understanding of professional software development workflows and can model clean, structured, and maintainable coding practices for learners.
• You bring empathy, structure, and a learner-focused approach, taking responsibility for student success.
• You show a strong willingness to continuously learn, grow, and improve both your technical skills and teaching methods while collaborating across instructional and program teams.
