Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in CS, engineering or technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 1+ years software development experience.
• Hands-on with various architectures (MVC, client-server).
• Experience with Java, J2EE, GOSU or .NET or similar OO tech.
• Experience in full life-cycle implementations.
• SQL knowledge and database concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, design and implement software for moderate to complex applications or Guidewire products.
• Participate in plans to develop software and integration with other apps.
• Estimate effort, design, and test software.
• Document, implement and unit test code per designs.
• Provide status updates on deliverables and timelines.
• Troubleshoot production software issues.
• Document designs using standards.
• Plan production rollout of software upgrades.
