Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional web application development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one server-side language (Perl, Python, Java, C#, Ruby, PHP) and willingness to become productive in Perl.
• Relational databases and SQL knowledge, reading query plans.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working across multiple languages, frameworks, and domains.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and tune PostgreSQL queries and schema changes for a large, high-volume production database.
• Contribute to code quality through PR reviews, tests, and documentation.
• Support DevOps with containerized AWS/Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD maintenance.
• Work as a full-stack generalist across languages and codebases in an Agile/Scrum workflow.
