Job summary

Nike, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Asset Manager to own the software asset lifecycle across the global enterprise, ensuring license compliance, optimizing software investments, and reducing risk.

The role requires 5+ years in SAM, strong licensing knowledge, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, or Snow. You will collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and IT for governance and cost savings.

Qualifications

5+ years of Software Asset Management or Licensing Management in a global enterprise environment.
Deep understanding of software licensing models (user-, device-, subscription, cloud/SaaS).
Hands-on experience with SAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera or Snow.
Familiarity with audit response practices and license compliance frameworks.
Ability to translate complex license agreements into actionable controls and insights.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise software assets from procurement through retirement.
Manage license compliance for major publishers and prepare for software audits.
Maintain and mature the SAM module in ServiceNow, ensuring entitlement and discovery accuracy.
Analyze software usage to identify cost savings and rightsize opportunities.
Partner with Legal and Procurement on contract negotiations, renewals, and true-ups with license data.
Define and enforce enterprise-wide policies to mitigate software compliance risk.
Produce executive dashboards and reports to enable governance and strategic decisions.
Collaborate with InfoSec and Architecture to ensure approved, licensed software deployment.
