Advocate Health seeks a Social Media Internship in a remote, work-from-home arrangement for summer 2027. You will gain practical experience in content creation, community management, design, copywriting, video production, analytics, and supporting organizational communications across Advocate Health’s social channels.

Open to enrolled undergraduates in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing or related fields (incoming junior/senior) with a 2.5+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university as an incoming junior or senior pursuing a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Excel and basic digital content tools.

Responsabilités

• Produce social media posts across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest with graphics and copy.
• Monitor activity on Advocate Health’s branded accounts and respond to engagement.
• Design graphics for Pinterest/Instagram and create infographics for health news site healthenews.
• Assist with social and digital marketing campaigns.
• Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, talking points and other communications materials.
• Identify compelling stories highlighting initiatives and community impact.
• Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
