RethinkFirst is seeking a Social Media Specialist to execute organic programs across RethinkBH, RethinkCare, RethinkEd, and RethinkFirst. You’ll translate priorities into engaging content, manage publishing and community activity, and use insights to strengthen future work.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with 2–4 years of experience, adept at platform-specific content and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting organic social media for a company, agency, or mission-driven organization.
• Strong writing and editing skills with samples showing voice adaptation across channels.
• Hands-on experience with major social platforms and scheduling/listening tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite.
• Ability to collaborate with designers, content partners, subject-matter experts, and senior stakeholders remotely.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, education technology, HR tech, or B2B software.
• Experience developing short-form video concepts or repurposing long-form content.
• Familiarity with accessibility, privacy, and brand-review considerations for social content.

Responsabilités

• Draft platform-appropriate copy and short-form content for multiple lines and audiences.
• Publish and schedule content, maintain links and tagging, ensure quality before posting.
• Collaborate with Brand, Content, Demand Gen, and product marketing to turn campaign plans into social content.
• Monitor and respond to issues per brand, privacy, and escalation guidelines.
• Track performance, derive insights, and adjust topics, formats, cadence, and distribution.
• Stay updated on platform changes and audience behavior; test new approaches.
• Maintain organized content, approvals, and reporting records for stakeholders.
