Job summary

Consertus is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media & Content Specialist to manage our social media presence and translate brand and marketing initiatives into compelling content.

Reporting to the VP of Brand & Corporate Communications, you will lead editorial planning, content creation, publishing, community engagement, and optimization across campaigns, thought leadership, and awards.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, corporate communications, or a related field.
• Experience independently managing professional social media channels, publishing schedules, and content calendars.
• Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and editorial judgment, including the ability to simplify complex subject matter.
• Strong understanding of B2B social media and content marketing.
• Experience with social media scheduling, management, and analytics platforms and the ability to interpret performance data.
• Strong organization, project management, stakeholder management, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, work independently, and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and creative teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media plans across platforms with monthly and quarterly calendars.
• Handle day-to-day publishing, audience engagement, and brand-consistent messaging.
• Monitor trends, competitor activity, and opportunities to grow visibility and engagement.
• Coordinate content intake, approvals, and publishing workflows.
• Source stories from milestones, client successes, and industry insights for social content.
• Translate technical topics into accessible content with a consistent brand voice.
• Support website copy, thought leadership, and campaign messaging.
• Coordinate industry award submissions and deadline management.
• Work with executives and SMEs to produce publishable social content.
