Job summary

Advocate Health in the United States is offering a Social Media Internship for the summer session. The intern will assist in content creation, community management, design, copywriting, video production, and analytics, supporting organizational strategies across social platforms.

You will gain exposure to external communications, translate messages for newsletters, video and web, and collaborate with the Advocate Health team to broaden external visibility while developing professional skills in

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university as junior or senior pursuing a relevant degree.
• GPA 2.5+ required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts across platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) with graphics and video.
• Monitor activity on Advocate Health-branded accounts and respond to reviews and comments.
• Design graphics for Instagram/Pinterest and infographics for healthenews.
• Assist with social and digital marketing campaigns.
• Draft and edit press releases, pitches, and external communications materials.
