Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an intern to support social media and external communications from a remote home office. The role focuses on content creation, design, video, and analytics while aligning with organizational strategies.

You will work with multiple teams to develop compelling stories and media materials. Eligible students will gain exposure to newsroom-like duties, press materials, and campaigns, with the possibility of on-site attendance for events.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited college/university as junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Marketing, Brand, Digital Content, or related field.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Produce social media posts for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, including graphics, written content, videos, etc.
• Monitor social media activity on Advocate's branded accounts, including reviews, messages, comments, etc.
• Design graphics for Pinterest and Instagram and infographics for healthenews.
