Responsibilities

• Interview the public to determine initial and continuing eligibility for retirement, survivors, disability, health insurance, and SSI including State supplements.
• Resolve discrepancies, clarify issues, and make final entitlement or disallowance decisions across SSA programs.

Education

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

Graduate education leading to Ph.D. or LL.M.
