Advocate Health is seeking a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support our efforts in building relationships with local communities and advancing our social responsibility initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and impact reporting.

The role is remote for a May–Aug 2027 window, 40 hours/week, with eligibility limited to listed states; ideal candidates are currently enrolled juniors/seniors in related

Qualifikationen

• Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a relevant bachelor’s program.
• GPA of at least 2.5; strong written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability and a positive attitude.

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations
• Track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives
• Research social issues, community needs and best practices
• Assist with grant applications, sponsorship requests, and donation tracking
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for new initiatives
• Develop skills in event planning, stakeholder communication and impact reporting
• Understand the role of businesses in driving social change
• Build professional relationships and receive mentorship from experienced leaders
• Contribute to initiatives that make a real difference in the community
