Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Social Impact & Community Relations Intern to support community engagement, CSR programs, and stakeholder communications. You will gain hands-on experience in program development, event planning, and impact reporting while working with mentors across the People & Culture team.

The internship runs May 31, 2027 to August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, remote from select states including TN.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment with junior or senior status at a regional accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with integrity and reliability.
• Proficiency with Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs and volunteer events.
• Support partnerships with local nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations.
• Help track and report on social impact metrics and outcomes.
• Contribute to internal and external communications related to select initiatives.
• Conduct research on social issues and community needs.
