Mane is seeking an Associate Manager, Social Media in Los Angeles who combines sharp organization with strong writing to turn our content strategy into a practical day-to-day calendar and social copy that feels like a real person. You’ll balance education, entertainment and storytelling across platforms, partnering with Creative, Brand and Influencer teams to land timely, on-brand content.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, content, editorial or brand marketing.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a concise, social-native voice.
• Strong ability to manage complex social content calendars across platforms.
• Highly organized with solid project-management skills.
• Deep knowledge of TikTok and Instagram trends and formats.
• Ability to translate strategy into engaging social content.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and day-to-day management of Mane’s social content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms.
• Translate brand priorities, product launches, cultural moments, trends and community insights into clear weekly and monthly content plans.
• Ensure every piece of content has a clear purpose, audience and role within the broader social strategy.
• Partner with Social, Brand, Creative, Influencer and Digital teams to source the content needed to support priorities.
• Maintain a thoughtful balance of product education, entertainment, brand storytelling, creator content, trends and community-led content.
• Identify content gaps early and proactively pitch ideas and solutions to fill them.
• Lead the organization and preparation of weekly calendar reviews, translating decisions into clear next steps.
• Keep the calendar agile, enabling real-time adjustments based on trends and launches.
• Ensure all planned content is briefed, approved and ready to publish on time.
• Own day-to-day social copywriting across Mane’s organic channels, including captions and Stories, and craft hooks and CTAs.
