Job summary

Mane is seeking an Associate Manager, Social Media in Los Angeles to turn social and content strategy into a cohesive, timely calendar. You will own calendar planning across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and emerging platforms, writing social copy and coordinating with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.

You’ll craft engaging social stories, manage briefs to publishing, and stay close to the Mane community to surface insights and opportunities for authentic participation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in social media, content, editorial or brand marketing.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with a concise, social-native voice.
• Strong experience building and managing complex social content calendars.
• Highly organized with strong project-management abilities.
• Editorial judgment to determine what goes on the calendar and what’s missing.
• Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram and platform-native formats.
• Ability to translate strategy and product information into engaging content.
• Flexible and proactive in evolving plans with culture and trends.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and day-to-day management of Mane’s social content calendar across platforms.
• Write social copy and maintain a consistent brand voice across channels.
• Turn calendar needs into briefs and shot lists; manage content from brief to publish.
• Monitor community conversations and surface opportunities for participation.
