Job summary

CTS is seeking an experienced SOC Engineer - Level 2 to join our Security Operations Center. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, guiding Level 1 engineers and strengthening the organization’s security posture. Strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes complex threat handling, forensics, and collaboration across IT and security teams, with a remote, full-time schedule and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in a SOC or cybersecurity role.
• 1–2 years at Level 2 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents; respond to complex threats.
• Lead incident management and coordinate with IT teams.
• Perform forensic analysis to identify root causes and IOCs.
• Assist in vulnerability assessment and remediation.
• Maintain and optimize security tools and technologies.
• Mentor Level 1 SOC Engineers and document actions.
• Generate security reports and provide improvement recommendations.
