Job summary

Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC is seeking a data engineer to design and optimize Snowflake-based pipelines and secure cloud data environments for scalable modeling workflows.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in large-scale data engineering, 3+ years with Snowflake and SQL, and experience packaging modeling code into Snowpark stored procedures; Snowflake certification is a plus. This is a remote role based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 6+ years of experience on large-scale data engineering projects.
• 3+ years using Snowflake, SQL, and cloud data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform data warehousing and scalability.
• Architect, optimize, and secure the cloud data environment powering data modeling tasks.
• Build and maintain Snowflake-based pipelines for large-scale datasets.
• Design and maintain Snowflake warehouses, databases, schemas, and roles.
• Automate ingestion and validation of federal datasets for modeling.
• Work remotely.
