Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a seasoned Snowflake Engineer to design and manage scalable data warehouses on Snowflake. You will be the Snowflake expert, optimizing architectures for performance, security, and cost across the organization.

Responsibilities include building data models with dbt, configuring Snowflake features like Snowpipe and data sharing, and collaborating with analysts to deliver reliable datasets for analytics. This is a remote, globally-accessible position.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing Snowflake data warehouses.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and dbt.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake features including Snowpipe, data sharing, and cost optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade data warehouses using Snowflake and SQL.
• Develop and optimize data models and transformations using dbt for data quality.
• Configure Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, data sharing, multi-cluster warehouses.
• Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor resource usage.
• Automate data ingestion and processing workflows for real-time and batch analytics.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to provide clean, high-performance data sets.
