Comerit is seeking a remote Snowflake Data Engineer to join the data engineering team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Snowflake, collaborating with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Snowflake experience, SQL proficiency, and certification. You will optimize performance, ensure data quality and security, and stay current with Snowflake features.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on experience with Snowflake and data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and Snowflake utilities (SnowSQL, SnowPipe, SnowPark).
• Familiarity with Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball data marts concepts.
• SnowPro certification is required.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Snowflake.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Tune Snowflake performance using clustering, materialized views, and caching.
• Ensure data quality, security, and access controls across pipelines.
• Monitor data processing and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Stay updated with Snowflake features and best practices.
• Translate requirements into detailed designs and code reviews.
