Job summary

Comerit is seeking a remote Snowflake Data Engineer/Product Owner to lead the Snowflake data analytics solution. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers to deliver high-quality data features and insights.

You will engage stakeholders to translate data and reporting needs into actionable tasks, guide architecture and development decisions, and implement an Agile Scrum process to support enterprise-wide reporting

Qualifications

• Snowflake Expertise: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehousing solutions.
• Database knowledge: Relational databases and data modeling.
• ETL/ELT proficiency: Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Agile/Scrum practices: Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Product Owner experience: Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner.
• Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification: SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy: Take ownership of the Snowflake data solution and BI product, defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Technical Collaboration: Attend Data and Analytics technical meetings.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business data and reporting needs into actionable tasks for the team.
• Team Coordination: Work with data engineers, analysts, and BI developers for feature delivery.
• Architecture and Development Consulting: Advise on architecture design and data enablement.
• Agile Methodology Implementation: Establish an Agile Scrum process for reporting and analytics.
• Scrum Leadership: Lead sprint ceremonies and ensure stories are complete and accurate.
• Backlog Management: Manage the data backlog and remove blockers.
• Progress Reporting: Report project progress to leadership.
• Team Dynamics: Promote healthy team dynamics and execution.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure testing scenarios for high-quality data.
