Confie is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement robust data pipelines and ELT processes on Snowflake. You will build scalable data models, develop Snowflake objects, and optimize performance while collaborating with the Enterprise Architecture team.

The role requires 4+ years in data engineering, strong Snowflake and ETL experience, and proficiency in Python and SQL. Remote/hybrid options available; on-call support included.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering and building data infrastructure.
• 4+ years in Snowflake data cloud and ETL development including Snowflake procedures, UDFs in Python/SQL, streams, tasks, Snowpipe, with semi-structured data.
• 3+ years Python programming with Snowpark, pandas, numpy, and requests for data analysis and integration.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration techniques.
• 2+ years experience with Coalesce, WhereScape, and Azure Data Factory.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; Snowflake Advanced Certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to populate Snowflake-based data lake and warehouse.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.
• Develop robust data models and scalable Snowflake objects (tables, views, procedures, UDFs).
• Monitor and optimize query performance and data quality across pipelines.
• Work with multiple data sources (structured/semi-structured/unstructured) and ensure timely data delivery.
• Provide on-call support and stay updated on data engineering trends.
