Job summary

Sentara Health Plans is seeking a Sales Executive for the Large Group Florida market, including remote work options in Florida. The role focuses on cultivating broker relationships, managing the full sales cycle, and meeting revenue targets across Tampa, Orlando, Central and North Florida.

You will present to decision-makers, conduct member education sessions as needed, and collaborate with marketing, underwriting, and customer service to support brokers and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree and 2 years related experience required.
• High School degree and 4 years related experience in lieu of education required.
• Must obtain a L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire and have 2-40 health license to the broader 2-15 life and health license.
• Valid Florida Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage relationships with assigned brokers and territories to drive profitable net new business growth.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, negotiating terms and closing deals.
• Present to decision-makers and key influencers within client organizations; conduct education sessions as requested.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, underwriting, customer service) to support broker and client needs.
