Qualifications

• Active Arizona SLP license required.
• PreK-12 professional non-teaching certificate from AZ Department of Education.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required for school settings.
• Professional liability insurance protects you against claims.
• Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
• Experience with telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context.
• FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, reliable internet, private workspace.
• Knowledge of IDEA and California Ed Code requirements.
• Comfort collaborating remotely with teachers, case managers, and families.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and relationships.
• Evaluate levels of speech and language.
• Develop and execute treatment plans addressing student needs.
• Document sessions and record data on progress towards IEP goals.
• Meet with school personnel to share student progress.
