Medik8 is seeking a freelance Skincare Advocate to drive brand presence within Sephora and deliver personalized consultations. The role emphasizes educating clients and staff on our vitamin C, sunscreen, and vitamin A philosophy while maintaining exceptional service standards.

The position offers remote flexibility and requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and some holidays, with travel between retail locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in skincare, beauty, cosmetics, luxury retail, or sales preferred.
• Passion for skincare and a strong understanding of skincare ingredients and routine building.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Comfortable conducting skincare consultations and product demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized skincare consultations and product recommendations based on client needs and concerns.
• Drive sales and achieve Sales Per Hour (SPH) Goal.
• Educate consumers on brand philosophy, hero products, ingredients, and skincare routines.
• Execute in-store events, trainings, and brand activations to increase client engagement and sales.
• Build strong partnerships with store & leadership teams.
• Maintain expert knowledge of skincare trends, ingredients, competitors, and industry best practices.
• Ensure merchandising standards are upheld, including product presentation, testers, and hygiene compliance.
• Capture and report sales results, client feedback, competitive insights, and event outcomes.
• Represent the brand professionally and embody brand values at all times.
