Job summary

Bowman seeks a Siting, Routing & Permitting Lead to guide electric transmission and generation projects from routing studies through permit acquisition. This role is remote, spanning nationwide teams and clients, requiring technical leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination.

You will mentor junior staff, manage scope, schedule and budgets, and collaborate with regulatory agencies. The position offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electric siting, routing, permitting, licensing.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Lead routing and siting studies, including alternatives analysis and technical reporting.
• Manage permitting strategies and permit packages.
• Coordinate agency consultations, public hearings, and stakeholder meetings.
• Review environmental and GIS analyses and project deliverables.
• Provide regulatory compliance guidance for siting projects.
• Monitor project status and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
