Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Conversation Recording Contributors to join a Sinhala (Sri Lanka) data collection project. This freelance, remote opportunity involves flexible, task-based work (~2–4 hours daily) with immediate start. You will record spontaneous speech and annotate data for evolving AI technologies.

Strong Sinhala fluency and good English to follow instructions are required. A quiet space, reliable internet, and access to an online recording platform are essential for participation.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Sinhala (Sri Lanka).
• Advanced English to understand written instructions.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record natural, spontaneous speech following project guidelines.
• Capture speech from real-life situations such as workplace conversations or casual discussions.
• Complete conversational speech tasks or voice/text interactions with AI systems.
• Annotate collected speech data according to instructions.
• Provide metadata for each recording.
