Job summary

Loyola University Maryland invites applications for a Simulation Specialist to provide operational and technical support for Loyola Maryland's Clinical Lab and Simulation Center. This 12-month, full-time role supports simulation-based learning, clinical skills instruction, and laboratory operations within the nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for simulation and clinical skills activities.
• Prepare, configure, test, operate, and rest simulation rooms, clinical skills spaces, highfidelity simulators, task trainers, standardized patient spaces, and associated equipment per procedures.
• Operate audiovisual capture and recording systems during live activities; support multiple simulations; provide technical assistance to minimize disruption.
• Provide technical support for simulation technologies; troubleshoot hardware, software, AV, connectivity; perform maintenance; manage access and readiness.
• Maintain storage, inventory, and lifecycle records; coordinate repairs and replacements; ensure safe handling of equipment and materials.
• Train and support faculty, staff, students in simulation technologies; support VR/immersive learning systems and Exxat/ExamSoft; protect confidentiality.
