Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to support high-speed interconnect, SerDes, and data transmission throughout the product lifecycle. The role involves collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, failure analysis, and global teams to investigate SI issues and support validation and testing activities.

The position is full-time and may sit remote within the US, with travel internationally as needed. Bachelor’s in EE required; 3+ years SI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of industry experience in signal integrity engineering, high-speed digital systems, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support customer system development from concept through production.
• Develop and execute integration, validation, and test strategies for new product introductions.
• Investigate SI issues through data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification.
• Review manufacturing and test results to identify failure mechanisms and corrective actions.
• Design, evaluate, and improve high-speed test platforms, PCBs, and measurement systems.
• Apply SI, transmission line, and high-speed design principles to product development and production.
