Job summary

First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Security Operations Platform Engineer to manage SIEM/SOAR platforms, ingest diverse logs, and tune detection rules. You will onboard sources, build dashboards, and support investigations with SOC analysts from a remote, nationwide team.

The role requires 3+ years of SIEM experience, scripting skills, and knowledge of cloud/security logs, with strong communication for executive audiences. Remote US work option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or IT.
• 3+ years managing a SIEM platform.
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR integration, log ingestion, and alerting.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, cloud logs, and data normalization.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SIEM/SOAR platform for SOC operations.
• Onboard and normalize log sources (firewalls, endpoints, servers, cloud, SaaS).
• Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and alert thresholds.
• Build dashboards and reports for security posture and incident trends.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts during investigations and provide platform support.
