Job summary

BairesDev is hiring a Security Engineer (SOC) to operate within a converged XDR/SIEM/SOAR environment. You will apply hands-on security operations skills at scale, focusing on detection, triage, incident response, and automation.

You will work with tools like Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, and CrowdStrike, developing automation and integrations to improve incident workflows. This is a fully remote role with flexible hours and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Security Operations environments (detection, triage, incident response, automation).
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR/XDR platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, CrowdStrike Falcon or equivalents).
• Strong XDR/EDR depth; proficiency with detection, investigation workflows, and response automation.

Responsibilities

• Perform detection, triage, and incident response across security operations workflows.
• Administer and configure security tools within SIEM, SOAR, and XDR environments.
• Investigate and respond to endpoint alerts using EDR/XDR platforms.
• Write scripts to automate workflows and build custom integrations and tooling for customers.
