Job summary

Qavvik Air is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to support the Pilot in Command in the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft. The role requires strong technical proficiency, sound judgment, and teamwork to ensure safety and customer service excellence across flights.

The SIC will assist with flight planning, pre-flight inspections, cockpit setup, and in-flight operations, while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Meet the minimum requirements specified in FAA Part 135.293 flight check.
• Minimum of 1200 logged flight hours.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with single-engine, land certificate and Instrument rating. No minimum flight hour experience required; turbo-prop experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid aviation second medical certificate.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PIC in all aspects of flight operations, including pre-flight planning and cockpit setup.
• Monitor aircraft systems, navigation, and communication during flight.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, SOPs, and company policies.
• Maintain and update flight logs and records.
• Communicate effectively with ATC and crew.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers.
