Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions and remote services across the south central U.S. region, including TN, AL, MS, LA, AR, MO, KS.

The Shrink Specialist will serve as the first contact for new customers and work with the regional sales team to promote shrink materials, equipment, and processes. The role emphasizes consultative selling, pre-sales technical support, and leading installations and training for customers while traveling within the region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; BA/BS Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of high-level mechanical and troubleshooting expertise.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential in current accounts; build rapport with customers; provide technical information; demonstrate equipment and packaging techniques; prepare quotations.
• Develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
• Provide technical service on Sealed Air Equipment when needed.
• Lead all installations and operator training for new and existing customers.
• Manage accounts by building relationships and delivering high-level service; analyze competitor information.
• Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other events.
• Develop accounts by checking buying history; suggest related and new items; explain features.
• Maintains end-user equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
• Maintains and improves quality by following standards; recommend improvements.
• Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participate in educational opportunities.
• Accomplish department goals by taking ownership of new requests; explore opportunities to add value.
• Complete C4C, inventories and other administrative responsibilities.
