Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Logistics Specialist/Ship Maintenance Support for a partner company in the United States. The role supports depot-level maintenance logistics, procurement planning, and project scheduling for major ship overhaul programs.

You will coordinate with logistics, procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure material availability, manage GFM/GFE data, and resolve delivery issues in a structured government logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Education variants with relevant experience aligned to degree level.
• Proven data entry and logistics experience in a related field.
• FAR/DFARS and contractual requirements knowledge.
• Strong organization, time management and independent work ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MSC logistics systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review depot-level ship availability work packages to identify required materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and submit procurement packages ensuring compliance with technical specs and standards.
• Monitor procurement actions and coordinate resolutions to support schedules.
• Maintain GFM/GFE listings and update information through the planning cycle.
• Develop tracking systems for GFM/GFE delivery schedules and material availability.
• Coordinate with ILS and logistics to monitor delivery timelines and provide status updates.
• Analyze GFM reports and communicate procurement progress to project teams.
• Identify missing or delayed GFM and collaborate on alternative options.
• Partner with APC teams to address logistics support requirements and schedules.
• Manage procurement communications and reporting aligned with deadlines.
