Job summary

SES is seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer to support a high-volume marketing environment. You will build, test, and deploy campaigns within SFMC, manage data extensions, journeys, and automations, and ensure dynamic content delivers across devices.

The role requires strong SFMC, HTML/CSS, SQL, and AMPscript skills; you will work largely independently within SFMC and guide a team to strengthen capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven SFMC email development experience.
• Strong HTML/CSS and AMPscript skills.
• Experience with data extensions and journeys.
• Experience with testing tools like Litmus.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, test, and deploy email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Create and maintain email templates using designs developed in Stencil and import/export HTML and CSS between Stencil and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Troubleshoot and modify HTML/CSS to ensure emails render correctly across devices and clients.
• Develop and maintain Data Extensions, subscriber data, audience lists, and campaign data within SFMC.
• Build and support Journey Builder journeys and Automation Studio workflows.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for segmentation, data manipulation, and campaign execution.
• Develop personalized and dynamic email content using AMPscript.
• Configure campaigns using distribution lists and integrated data sources.
• Perform cross-client and cross-device email testing using Litmus.
• Support deliverability and inbox-placement testing using Validity/Everest.
• Troubleshoot campaign, data, rendering, and SFMC issues.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers and teams to translate designs into production emails.
• Provide SFMC expertise to improve campaign development and delivery practices.
