Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• No professional work experience required
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District
• Medication administration training provided by the District
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum to individual needs (Daily).
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress/behavior records with licensed staff (Daily).
• Prepare materials, administer tests, attend to attendance and paperwork; assist with events like fire drills (Daily).
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested (Daily).
