Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe education needs under licensed staff guidance. You will assist in curriculum delivery for individuals and small groups, monitor progress, and help maintain achievement records.

In remote settings, you’ll aid technology access, feedback, and coursework completion. Assignments may include Autism, BD, Homebound (FAPE), ILC, SED, and Transition Programming.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior professional work experience required.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training provided by the District

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum for individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials preparation, tests, attendance, and other paperwork.
• Assist with other classroom events and activities as needed.
