Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.
• Formal education such as an Associate's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience with IEPs and special education procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Prepare materials, administer tests, attend to attendance and paperwork.
• Support online learning, assist with technology access and assignment completion.
• Provide de-escalation support and assist with crisis interventions when needed.
