Job summary

Peraton is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer for a 100% remote role. The candidate will design and develop ServiceNow applications, extend modules, and build custom UI components.

Responsibilities include workflows, integrations, security configurations, and working in an Agile/DevSecOps environment. Requires hands-on experience with scripts, UI Pages, and Service Portal customization; there is potential for a Secret clearance in the future.

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years with HS diploma
• Experience developing workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Experience writing, testing, and debugging ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, Fix Scripts)
• Developing custom UI components (UI Pages, UI Actions, Service Portal elements)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and/or traditional scoped development.
• Build solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality, including custom modules and portal widgets.
• Customize a Service Portal; clone, extend, and customize existing modules.
• Develop workflows, automation, and integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and external platforms.
• Write, test, and debug ServiceNow scripts; develop UI components and ensure scalability and best practices.
• Configure MID Server for integrations and data movement; implement RBAC and security configurations.
