Job summary

Rust Automation & Controls is seeking a Service Business Development Manager to grow the service portfolio across the Western United States. You will work with customers to expand service and calibration offerings, identify lifecycle opportunities, and collaborate with Sales to convert opportunities from conception through maintenance.

Qualifications

• Former service technician and/or engineering background (preferred).
• Strong understanding of industrial service disciplines.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow service and calibration business with existing customers.
• Prospect and develop new service opportunities via meetings and site visits.
• Review installed base to identify service and lifecycle opportunities.
• Vet new and previous service opportunities; follow up on large opportunities.
• Create budgets, quotes, and formal proposals for service opportunities.
• Maintain strong CRM data, reporting, and timelines in Salesforce and NetSuite.
