Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Live Expert Service Desk Analyst to provide first and second line technical support for internal employees. The role involves analyzing and resolving issues across software, hardware, and connectivity, with remote troubleshooting and strong service mindset.

This contract position is remote, with weekend shifts during tax peak and 40 hours per week. The role requires logging incidents in ServiceNow, supporting access to systems, and using Slack for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot software, hardware and connectivity issues remotely.
• Log all service desk contacts in ServiceNow.
• Install, upgrade and maintain software, hardware and peripherals.
• Create and maintain knowledge base and process documentation.
• Work a 7-day weekly support schedule during tax peak.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot software, hardware and connectivity issues remotely.
• Log all incidents in ServiceNow and communicate progress.
• Assist users in gaining access to systems and servers.
• Deploy/patch software using VMware and Ivanti device management.
• Maintain high quality customer service for all support queries.
