Job summary

Jobtailor in Tennessee is seeking a results-driven field sales professional to drive lead generation, qualification, and sales of service contracts to new and existing customers. You will develop customer relationships in an assigned geographic area and own forecasts and annual sales targets.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in field-based sales, a valid driver's license, the ability to operate remotely, and strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in field-based sales/account management.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions and reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate remotely
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
• Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet and exceed demanding sales targets
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
• Salesforce.com (SFDC) experience
• Proficient in MS Office and other common workplace applications
• Proven track record of building a pipeline and winning business
• Coachable and highly enthusiastic mindset
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% in an assigned geographic area

Responsibilities

• Drive lead generation, qualification, and sales of service contracts to new and existing customers
• Develop customer relationships in an assigned geographic area
• Promote new account development and maintain active relationships with current customers
• Develop and implement plans, processes, and strategies to improve customer service and increase service revenue
• Deliver and own forecasts and annual sales targets for service contracts
• Maintain technical product knowledge, sales techniques, market trends, and daily sales activity
• Collaborate with local branch operations to deliver service proposals, negotiate pricing, and close time-and-material sales
• Work with Allegion Regional Sales Office to develop relationships and discuss end-user leads
• Identify and partner with new and existing clients to grow the book of business
• Close sales in the designated territory
• Contact prospects through cold calls, email, and social networks
• Deliver sales presentations to business owners and key decision-makers
• Use CRM systems and other technology to manage and track efforts
