Job summary

Jobtailor in Memphis, TN, seeks a results-driven Pest Management Sales professional to grow our residential pest control business. You will assess customer needs, present tailored proposals, and close opportunities, collaborating with the service team to deliver effective solutions.

Travel within the territory is required. You will track performance in the Sales CRM and contribute to service installations and ongoing customer support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Related sales experience and/or training preferred.
• Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territory(s).
• Ability to move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
• Comfort dealing with pests and entering basements, crawl spaces, attics, and other small spaces.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways.

Responsibilities

• Sell pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers.
• Assess customer needs and analyze homes using expert knowledge of company products and services.
• Visually inspect homes for pests, harborage, and pest entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on inspection findings.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue opportunities.
• Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and recommend service enhancements.
• Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge for new service installations.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking in the company Sales CRM.
