Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in-house or agency.
• Strong keyword research and search intent mapping.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, and GA.
• Proven ranking and traffic improvements with specific examples.
• Working knowledge of indexation, canonicals, internal linking, and structured data.
• Strong written communication to create SEO-optimized content.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis for assigned pages and topics.
• On-page optimization including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, body content, and internal linking.
• Execute content refreshes on priority pages based on ranking and traffic data.
• Apply local SEO to school location pages and geographic targeting.
• Flag technical issues such as indexation, canonicals, and crawl errors for resolution.
• Build data-backed content briefs with target keywords, intent, and structure.
• Review and optimize content from writers before publication.
• Follow established SEO guidelines and templates across the subdomain network.
• Provide monthly performance updates on optimized/refreshed pages (rankings, traffic, engagement).
• Ensure thorough, timely, and accurate communications.
• Utilize various SEO technologies and platforms specific to the business.
