Job summary

Compound Growth Marketing (CGM) is seeking an SEO Manager to lead national B2B SEO across a portfolio of mid-market clients. You will own strategy, output, and the analysts who execute it, reporting to the Head of SEO.

You'll guide AI-search visibility, craft content plans, and mentor team members while delivering measurable outcomes for clients and shaping CGM's growing SEO practice.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of direct SEO experience.
• 2+ years agency experience.
• Demonstrated national B2B SEO experience.
• Hands-on technical SEO expertise (crawlability, site architecture, schema).
• Proven track record translating buyer pain points into content plans.
• Fluency with standard SEO tool stack: Ahrefs/Semrush, GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog.
• Experience with AI tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, and Google AI Studio.

Responsibilities

• Own SEO and AEO strategy for a portfolio, translating data into a prioritized plan.
• Maintain a 3–6 month forward view for each account and plan capacity.
• Own content strategy and provide guidance to analysts.
• Lead output of analyst team with clear standards and accountability.
