Job summary

PMA Companies, in-house counsel, seeks a litigator to lead the defense of workers' compensation claims across Pennsylvania. You will represent insured and self-insured employers, draft briefs and pleadings, and negotiate settlements while conducting depositions and providing legal guidance.

The role requires a PA Bar license and a JD from an accredited U.S. law school, with 2–3 years of workers' compensation litigation experience; travel across PA regions is expected; this is remote-friendly

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Licensed with the PA Bar Association.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of workers compensation litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Litigate PA workers' compensation claims and represent insured and self-insured employers.
• Prepare legal correspondence, memorandums, briefs and pleadings; participate in settlements.
• Conduct depositions of claimants, insureds and expert witnesses; provide client training and updates.
