Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead Workday Financials initiatives in a contract, remote capacity. You will act as a functional and technical expert, guiding financial modules, processes, and integrations across the organization.

This role requires strong leadership, data analysis, and governance to deliver strategic improvements. You will mentor team members, drive configuration changes, and coordinate testing, deployment, and post-production support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of Business Systems Analyst or ERP/Financial Systems work.
• 5+ years hands-on Workday Financials across multiple areas.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Workday Financials expert across modules and lead analysis, design, and configuration.
• Mentor junior team members and provide governance for changes and best practices.
• Configure workflows, security, reports, and data loads; own testing and release efforts.
• Lead issue resolution, triage, and coordination with IT, Workday, and vendors.
• Gather requirements, write specs, and coordinate deployment and post-production support.
• Develop test strategies and validate scenarios; assess risks and deployment readiness.
