Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Workday Developer for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will design, configure, and extend the Workday platform across HR and finance workstreams, delivering scalable solutions and reliable reports for clients.

The ideal candidate has deep Workday reporting, calculated fields, business processes, and security setup experience, plus a track record of shipping production-grade configurations and collaborating with product and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years of Workday technical experience.
• Deep expertise in Workday report writer (advanced/composite reports).
• Strong proficiency with calculated fields across HCM & Finance.
• Experience configuring business processes and rules.
• Strong Workday security knowledge.
• Familiarity with tenant management and release cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex calculated fields, custom reports, and advanced reports.
• Build composite and matrix reports to support decision making.
• Configure and maintain business processes, conditions, and approvals.
• Develop Workday Extend apps and PRISM analytics where appropriate.
• Create report-driven data integrations and support data exports.
• Collaborate with HR, payroll, and finance to translate requirements into configurations.
• Maintain documentation for processes, calculations, and security models.
• Assist with release testing and production validation.
