Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a Water Facilities Technical Leader to serve as a Senior Level Principal Engineer. This role will involve advising on large scale water infrastructure projects and mentoring emerging talent. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, substantial experience in water facilities design, and registered PE in Texas.

As a leader in our hydraulic facilities practice, you will partner with various team leaders to develop strategies that meet client needs. The role can be remote but preference for Texas office locations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience in design and planning of water & sewer systems.
• Significant expertise in hydraulic facilities, pump stations, and lift stations.
• Understanding of water conveyance systems including storm and sewage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Technical Advisor on various water infrastructure projects.
• Mentor emerging talent and support engineering staff.
• Maintain client relationships as Technical Expert Point of Contact.

Skills

Public works and municipal services project experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Expertise in hydraulic facilities

Experience with large diameter pipelines

Water Modeling Software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater)

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering

Registered PE in Texas
